Test Abstract This Marble replicates findings from the study, "Role of Protein Y in Oxidative Stress Response," published in 2021. The original article demonstrated that Protein Y knockdown significantly reduces cellular viability in mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs) exposed to oxidative stress. Using identical methods and reagents, we replicated Figure 2 from the original study, which assessed cell viability. Our results confirm the original findings, showing that Protein Y knockdown reduces cell viability by 35% (original: 33%). The results were consistent across three independent biological replicates. By validating the findings, this study strengthens the reproducibility of Protein Y's role in oxidative stress response and highlights the robustness of the experimental approach.
